Decoration : Bullet form with acanthus leaf decoration to loop handle and finial. Repouse floral design. Cartouche with a boar and PER TOT DISCRIMINA RERU (Through so many adversities). This is the crest of a branch of Clan Campbell. Vacant cartouche to the reverse. Terraced foot. Label is unhallmarked silver reads “ANTIQUE SILVER GEORGE II / Scots Bullet form Teapot on high trumpet foot Silver handle and Swan neck Spout / Body Chased with Scrolls & foliage. Made in 1749 by KERR & DEMPSTER, Edinburgh / Assay master, Hugh Gordon. Weight 20.25g
Size : Height 13.5cm. Length Handle to Spout 24cm, diameter of Base 8.2cm
Condition : Some softening to the igh poiints of the decoration and the motto is a little hard to read. Otherweise excellent.
