SOLD – Regency Glass Wine Carafe c1830

Description

A wonderful regency wine carafe c1830 which has a wide pouring rim with slice cuts down the neck leading down to a triple annulated neck ring.  The body has been cut with bands of stars. It has an applied foot which has a polished pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures it measures 8 ¾ inches tall and approx. 5 inches in diameter and will hold a magnum of wine of a just the one with ample room to breathe.  

A fine example that will take pride of place at any dining table and provide a welcome talking point.
